Contribution Submission Guide

Step 1: Verify Your License

Enter your Melissa License Number to confirm that your account is eligible to participate in the Contribution Program.

Step 2: Select a Contribution Type

Choose the type of contribution you would like to submit.

Change Existing Address

Use this option when an address already exists in Melissa's database, but its geographic coordinates need to be corrected or refined.

1. Search for the address using:
   • A MAK Number, or
   • An address search and selection from the suggested results.
2. Review the current latitude and longitude displayed in the Geographic Data section.
3. Enter the updated coordinates.
4. Click Update Address Location to submit the correction.

Add Missing Address

Use this option when an address is not currently available in Melissa's database.

Provide any verified information available, including:

• Company Name
• Address Lines 1–8
• City
• State/Province
• Postal Code
• Country
• Latitude and Longitude (if known)

Not all fields are required. Submit as much verified information as possible.

Override Email Validation Status

Use this option when an email address is receiving an incorrect validation result.

Examples:

• An email is deliverable but is reported as invalid.
• An email is undeliverable but is reported as valid.

To submit a correction:

1. Enter the email address.
2. Select the correct deliverability status.
3. Click Override Email Validation Status.

Reason

Provide details explaining why the correction is accurate. Supporting information helps expedite the review process.

Contact Email

Provide an email address if you would like Melissa to contact you regarding questions or clarification about your submission.
