  1. Choose a geography area to search from 8 geography categories.
    • ZIP Code: enter ZIP code(s), ZIP code with radius or select ZIP code(s) in a city.
    • Address + Radius: enter full address with radius.
    • Street: search street name and select a street and enter house number range.
    • City: select city(s) of a state.
    • Town: select town/place(s) of a county.
    • County: enter a county FIPS code or select county in a state.
    • State: select a state in the state list.
    • Map: search base location to find and draw map area with circle, recrtangle and polygon shapes.
  2. Use 5 filter categories if you want to narrow your search to reduce the total list count.
    • Property: type, bed/bathroom, Sqft/yard, unit, year, value, equity, LTV, last sale and etc.
    • Mortgage: amount, interest rate, Term, lender, recording date, type and etc.
    • Foreclosure: record type, recording date, default amount, judgment amount.
    • Absentee: absentee/owner occupied, vacant address, trustee owner, corporate owner.
    • Demographic: age, gender, income, marital status and residence info.
  3. Finally complete the list by selecting several options for the list file.
    • Append Fields: choose the fields that you want to have in the list file.
    • Append Phones: Phones where available, Records with Phone only
    • File Format: Excel, CSV and DBF.
    • All properties owned by owner vs One property per owner.
    • Cutoff and Suppression to reduce the total list count.
  4. Save job with a job name and Purchase a job.

Having your file Zipped is useful if you have a large file and you want to speed up the download time or if you have a firewall that won’t let you download in your selected file type. It is not recommended if you are working on a Mac because the Zip program Melissa uses is Windows based.
For example, if the total count is 5,000 records, you can cutoff 1,000 Nth records sorted by ZIP code, then the list has an equal number of records.
